| This series of four was clicked by M H Khan. One of the few people who came in our lives as clients and have come to stay friends forever. The raft is going through one of the best rapids (Grade IV) on the Ganges called THE WALL. It is probably the most talked about and feared rapid on the Ganges. You can hear it gushing and roaring from about half a KM before approach. | Negotiating the wall requires more technical skills than physical labour. Catching the right course is the only way you will make it through without a flip. One small mistake, less power and support from the paddlers and........the diagonal waves towards the end just when you will start to relax on your run of about 11 seconds will teach you to be careful till its not really over | Notice the big wave the raft is headed for. It is eddy on the left of this wave that gives The WALL most of the prestige it commands. We have personally met two people who have spent more than a few hours in this eddy before rescue. But that was all in the past. As long as we can remember of our own experience the wall has come to be a kiddo compared to what it used to be, but then as they say play it safe. |

| After the raft goes through this big grade IV THE WALL most guides check their load and breathe a sigh of relief if the headcount matches the one taken before entry in to the rapid | And as most of them say it will never be possible to show by photographs or words the feelings and excitement, the rush of adrenalin that these white water runs can take you through. | Harish our chief river runner is a pleasure to be on the raft. He make every moment of yours on the raft an unforgettable one. From Run the Stern on a grade II to Pyramids on small waves rafting with Harish is sure a lot of fun (apart from being totally safe as Harish has over 13 years of Rafting behind him) | Clicked from the Malakhunti Bridge, as the raft approaches the put out point at Marine Drive. Till date only a few people have dared to jump from this bridge and Manishankar is the first guy to do it without a life Jacket. This is probably my most favourite pic. Maybe cos I clicked it. But what I like about this pic is the symmetry in there | Sure its a lot of fun. And that's what we've been trying to tell the folks around us all the time. Well some did believe us.
