Camp RapidFire is a white water river rafting and
holiday camp located 35 kms from Rishikesh and 60 km from Haridwar at
village Singthali. It is only 19 km from Shivpuri which is rightfully called
the mecca of white water rafting in India.

A life out of the ordinary - Its not everyday that you wake up one day and find sand below you feet. Its not everyday that you can relax over a morning cup of tea by a riverside. Its not everyday that you decide to spend four hours paddling and river rafting on a river that you till now considered a river for Holy shower. Camp RapidFire has just about as many reasons that you might want to create for a chance of living out of the everyday routine and yes even synchronised swimming is reason enough.....

At Camp RapidFire we present you a life out of everyday routine. You live without electricity which obviously means living with out a TV, refrigerator, light bulbs, computer, internet or without cell phones. Which also means you will rely on Torches or Hurricane Lamps for light and a bonfire to warm you. You will live under the stars, breathe fresh air, give some exercise to your body by basic activities like getting your food from the Dining area or trying to charge your cell phone by walking up to the road which happens to be 200 meters of good climb. You will swim in the river or even try your hand at kayaking freestyle. You will sleep like baby and eat like a giant because your body will burn more calories for just about everything you do. You will enjoy rolling in the sand, toasting in the sun and getting wet in the river. You will probably make friends with new people over an evening snack. You will learn to sing shamelessly at the Bonfires and laugh at small jokes that would otherwise go unnoticed.
Situated right next to one of the biggest rivers in India just about 300 kms from its origin at Gangotri Glacier the Camp RapidFire is a haven or tranquillity and peace about 250 kms from Delhi. You will wake up to the call of the birds and sleep to the sound of buzzing crickets. You will often hear the Barking Dear and if you are lucky enough even the roar of a Leopard or a Tiger and that for us also is a little out of the ordinary.... But hey isn't that what its all out!!!!! |
